About Me — Farshid Bateni
I’m Farshid Bateni, an international mathematics olympiad tutor with over 14 years of experience, specializing in AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12, AIME, and USAMO preparation. I’ve coached hundreds of students from the United States, Canada, and worldwide — helping many qualify for AIME, USAJMO, and even the IMO team.
My students have earned over 180 international math olympiad medals, and dozens have achieved top percentile or perfect AMC scores. I’m known for turning complex math into clear, logical, and enjoyable lessons — focusing on real problem-solving insight, not just formulas.
I was the first in the world to publish complete, step-by-step solutions to the Stanford SUMaC 2022 & 2023 and PROMYS 2022 problems on YouTube — long before any other instructor. These programs are among the world’s toughest math camps, and my early, accurate solutions have helped advanced students globally.
